Arsenal £10m short in opening bid for priority transfer target

According to reports from The Sun, Arsenal have tabled a £28million transfer bid for priority strike target Alvaro Morata. Arsene Wenger has reportedly grown frustrated with his current strike options, namely Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud, who managed just 21 Premier League goals between them last season, whilst Danny Welbeck will start the 2016/17 campaign on the sidelines through injury.
