United and Chelsea target 'not going anywhere'

Manchester United and Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Roma defender Kostas Manolas. Thats according to the Metro, who report the defender, also being linked with a move to Arsenal, will be staying at the club. Manager Luciano Spalletti has spoken out to squash any talk of a move: 'His intentions are clear, so there are no issues. Why not talk instead about the problem of writing about issues that are not there? Manolas will stay with us.' said Spalletti. The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to England all summer, after starring for the Italian side last season in Serie A.
