Arsenal transfer talks begin with 26-year-old Brazilian who was subject of failed 18m Man City bid

Preliminary Arsenal transfer talks with Torino wing-back Bruno Peres are reportedly underway. The 26-year-old Brazilian's agent has already spoken to both clubs, according to Gazzette World, who claim that Torino are expecting a formal bid very soon. Gazzette World say Torino will ask for 20m – a fee that put off Manchester City earlier this summer. The Italian source report that City's 18m bid was rejected by Torini, while Peres is also linked with interest from Barcelona, Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen.
