Queens Park Rangers 'close to signing Nicklas Bendtner'

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly considering a surprise move for former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. The 28-year-old spent 10 years with the Gunners - scoring 24 times in 100 appearances - before moving to Wolfsburg in 2014 but is currently without a club after having his contract terminated by the Bundesliga outfit in April. According to N, Hoops manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink "sees Bendtner's experience and talents as adding something to his squad" as he looks to get the side promoted back to the Premier League this term.
