Arsenal injury boost: Star man spotted in training after five-month lay-off
Mertesacker is yet to make a single appearance for Arsenal this campaign after picking up a knee injury in pre-season. The 32-year-old has been ruled out since July but was today picture in training at the Gunners' base at London Colney. The centre-back was snapped being put through his paces by assistant fitness coach Craig Grant having previously been doing much of his rehabilitation in Germany. REUTERS
