David Gold: 'West Ham United are desperate for strikers'

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has admitted that the club are "desperate" to sign two new strikers this summer. The Hammers were also in the market for a high-profile centre-forward in the last two transfer windows, but they are yet to capture a player who fits that description.
