Aaron Ramsey: 'Draw at Old Trafford was fair'

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey admits that the team's 1-1 draw with Manchester United was a fair result.

Aaron Ramsey has admitted that Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Manchester United was a 'fair result'.

The Gunners boosted their chances of securing a top-three finish in the Premier League table on Sunday by coming from behind to claim a point at Old Trafford.

A draw at home to Sunderland on Wednesday will all but send Arsenal into next season's Champions League group phase due to their superior goal difference over United.

When asked if a stalemate between the rivals was the right outcome, Ramsey told the club's official website: "Yes, I think so - it's always a difficult place to come and in the first half we found it quite difficult but we improved in the second half. We kept the ball a bit better and created a few chances and maybe could have won it at the end."

Ramsey has scored 10 goals in 38 appearances for Arsenal so far this season.
