Lee Dixon slams Arsenal following draw at Watford

Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon slams the performance of the Gunners in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Watford.

Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon took to social media on Sunday afternoon to slam the Gunners for their performance in the Premier League clash with Watford.

Unai Emery's side had a two-goal lead at the interval courtesy of a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has now registered five Premier League goals in as many appearances this season.

A huge mistake from Sokratis saw Tom Cleverley halve the deficit early in the second period, however, before Roberto Pereyra levelled from the penalty spot late on after a rash challenge from David Luiz.

Dixon took to Twitter in the aftermath of the 2-2 to criticise his former club for their "very, very poor" performance at Vicarage Road.

"The worst performance without the ball for a very long time," Dixon tweeted. "No accountability what so ever. Game management zero. Game understanding zero. Responsibility to others zero. Very very poor."

Arsenal are one of five clubs - alongside Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Leicester City and Chelsea - to collect eight points from their first five games of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
