Tottenham Hotspur to revive interest in RB Leipzig's Marcel Sabitzer?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly at the head of the queue for RB Leipzig playmaker Marcel Sabitzer, who looks set to leave the club this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly determined to bring RB Leipzig playmaker Marcel Sabitzer to North London this summer.

The Austria international rose to fame last season as he inspired Leipzig to Champions League last-16 triumph over Tottenham, and the capital outfit have been linked with a move ever since.

Jose Mourinho's side were linked with a January swoop for the Leipzig man, which failed to materialise, but Leipzig chief Markus Krosche has previously acknowledged that numerous clubs are interested in Sabitzer.

Now, German outlet Sport Bild reports that Sabitzer - who has less than 18 months left on his existing deal - is likely to leave Leipzig this summer, and Tottenham are at the front of the queue for his signature.

The report also claims that the Leipzig view Dominik Szoboszlai - whom they signed in January - as Sabitzer's successor, but Spurs will likely have to fend off interest from Arsenal and other clubs if they want to land the 26-year-old this summer.

Sabitzer boasts five goals and five assists in all competitions for Julian Nagelsmann's side this term.
