The remaining 14 Premier League clubs are reportedly preparing to demand the Big Six be kicked out of the competition in a meeting on Tuesday.

The 14 Premier League clubs not involved in plans for a European Super League are reportedly demanding the Big Six to be expelled from England's top division.

On Sunday evening, it was announced that Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur had all signed up as six of the 12 founding members of the European Super League - a move which has been met with widespread condemnation.

The British clubs involved in European competition this season have already been hit with the threat of expulsion from the semi-finals, while UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin wants to see ESL players banned from representing their countries.

Now, The Sun reports that the remaining 14 Premier League clubs - all of whom are furious - are due to hold a meeting on Tuesday in which they will demand the 'Big Six' to be booted out of the Premier League.

While a unanimous vote from 14 out of 20 clubs cannot lead to a Big Six team being kicked out, the report adds that Rule B11 gives Richard Masters, Gary Hoffman and Kevin Beeston the power to make "final and binding" rulings.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and James Milner have also voiced their displeasure at the plans, while an Instagram post shared by Bruno Fernandes also hinted at his disapproval of a European Super League.
