Liverpool are reportedly open to cashing in on midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during one of the next two transfer windows.

Liverpool are reportedly open to selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during one of the next two transfer windows.

While a serious knee injury has hindered the midfielder's time at Anfield, the 28-year-old has still made 109 appearances in all competitions since 2017.

However, the England international is now only regarded as a backup member of Jurgen Klopp's squad, leading to the possibility of a departure in the near future.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool are prepared to part ways with Oxlade-Chamberlain if they receive a suitable bid for his signature.

The playmaker has less than two years remaining on his contract, a scenario which has allegedly resulted in interest from former club Arsenal.

Nevertheless, the report adds that Liverpool will not entertain a cut-price fee or loan offer for a player which costs £35m four years ago.
