Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Youri Tielemans to Newcastle United, Morgan Gibbs-White to Crystal Palace and Jamie Shackleton to Reading.

Newcastle United have reportedly entered the race for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The Magpies are now able to financially compete with the majority of clubs in world football due to their recent takeover, and Eddie Howe's side are expected to be active in the market over the next few weeks.

Tielemans's future at Leicester continues to be called into question, with the midfielder's contract at King Power Stadium due to expire next summer.

Manchester United and Arsenal continue to be linked with the Belgium international, but according to CBS, there is also interest from Newcastle, with the Magpies ready to explore the possibility of bringing him to the club before the end of the transfer window.

Meanwhile, according to The Sun, Crystal Palace have entered the race to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Morgan Gibbs-White during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old spent the 2021-22 campaign on loan with Sheffield United in the Championship, scoring 11 goals and registering nine assists in 35 league outings for the Blades.

Gibbs-White is now back with Wolves, and a recent report claimed that the Premier League club are expecting to keep hold of him.

However, according to The Sun, Palace are keen on the attacker, with the Eagles lining up a £20m bid, but they could face competition from Nottingham Forest and Southampton.

Meanwhile, the same report claims that Palace boss Patrick Vieira is keen to bring Burnley attacker Dwight McNeil to the club this summer.

The 22-year-old is widely expected to leave the Clarets in the current market following their relegation to the Championship, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future.

West Ham United are also admirers, but the Hammers are not believed to be prepared to pay the £10m required to bring the attacker to London Stadium.

McNeil found it difficult to make his mark for Burnley last season, only managing one assist in 38 Premier League appearances for the relegated club.

Elsewhere, Reading are said to be keen to sign Leeds United midfielder Jamie Shackleton on loan during this summer's transfer window.

According to Football Insider, the Whites are open to letting their academy product depart on a short-term basis, and Reading are keen to loan him for the entirety of the 2022-23 campaign.

Shackleton, 22, still has two years left to run on his contract at Elland Road, and Leeds are not believed to be open to letting him leave on a permanent basis at this stage.

The midfielder featured on 19 occasions at club level during the 2021-22 campaign, including 14 appearances in the Premier League, where he largely featured as a right-back.
