Liverpool, Arsenal 'battle for Alvaro Morata'

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata reportedly emerges as a transfer target for both Liverpool and Arsenal.

Liverpool and Arsenal will be reportedly compete for the signature of Juventus striker Alvaro Morata this summer.

Since leaving Real Madrid, the Spaniard has started to show his worth at La Signora and has been ahead of fellow countryman Fernando Llorente in the pecking order.

According to The Express, however, Juve are keen to sign Paulo Dybala to play alongside 20-goal forward Carlos Tevez next season.

Morata is keen to remain at the Italian champions, but it is thought that the player's agent has hinted at a possible move away from Turin in the summer.

However, Morata may favour a return to Real, with question marks over the long-term future of French forward Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.
