Report: Bayern Munich make Alexis Sanchez contact

A report claims that Bayern Munich have made initial contact with Arsenal regarding a potential summer move for Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez.

Bayern Munich have reportedly lodged an enquiry with Arsenal regarding the availability of Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean joined the Gunners from Barcelona in 2014 and he has gone on to score 41 goals in 89 outings.

However, with just two years left to run on his contract at the Emirates Stadium, Bayern are ready to swoop, according to The Mirror.

The report adds that while the Bavarians are yet to make a formal approach for the 27-year-old's services, the North Londoners have been made aware of their interest.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has previously said that he is confident Sanchez will sign a new deal with the club.
