Report: Rob Holding to cost Arsenal £7m

Arsenal are reportedly told by Bolton Wanderers that it will cost them £7m to secure the services of young defender Rob Holding.

Bolton Wanderers have reportedly informed Arsenal that defender Rob Holding will set them back £7m.

The Gunners are believed to have made a bid in the region of £750,000 for the 20-year-old earlier this month.

However, The Express claims that despite having just 12 months left to run on his contract at the Macron Stadium, Bolton value their academy product at almost 10 times more than the original offer.

The report adds that Arsenal were prepared to up their financial proposal to £2m with add-ons, but they are yet to respond to the Championship club's demands.

Holding is currently away with the England Under-21s in Toulon.
