Pep Guardiola's Manchester City drawn alongside Barcelona in Champions League

Manchester City are drawn in Champions League Group C with Barcelona, Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will return to former club Barcelona in the Champions League after the two sides were drawn in the same group.

The Citizens, who comfortably saw off Steaua Bucuresti to advance into the competition proper, will also face Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic as part of their tricky Group C schedule.

Arsenal face double-headers against French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain, Basel and qualifiers Ludogorets Razgrad, meanwhile, and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur must battle past CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco.

Premier League champions Leicester City formed part of the group-stage draw for the first time in their history, and as top seeds they have what appears to be a favourable run as they take on Porto, Club Brugge and Copenhagen.

Elsewhere, holders Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund were drawn alongside each other in Group F, with Cristiano Ronaldo also facing a return to one of his former sides in Sporting Lisbon.
