Arsenal news: Mesut Ozil’s agent reveals ‘positive’ contract talks
Ozil has entered the final year of his contract and talks between him and Arsenal were understood to have reached a stalemate. The Germany international wants a significant pay rise from the Gunners but is also attracting interest from Manchester United and Besiktas in Turkey. With his contract ending next summer, Ozil can enter talks with other clubs in January. But his representative Erkut Sogut has revealed they have not received an approach from Besiktas and claimed the midfielder wants to remain in the Premier League.
