Arsenal news: Arsene Wenger insists his youngsters can win the Carabaro Cup

The Arsenal manager is set once again to unleash them on Championship side Norwich tonight in the Carabao Cup – despite the fact that his first choice side thrashed Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park on Sunday. Wenger insists he will keep faith with his policy of giving his fringe players a chance - which will mean that Jack Wilshire, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud are all expected to start, along with Alex Iwobi, Rob Holding and Ainsley Maitland-Miles. Six years ago Wenger played his youngsters all the way though to the last stages in the same competition, only reverting to his near first team for the final, when his side were surprisingly beaten by Birmingham at Wembley.
