Theo backed to stay at Arsenal

Walcott has struggled to cement his place in Arsenal's starting line-up after sustaining a serious knee injury at the beginning of 2014 which kept him out of last summer's World Cup. The 26-year-old, who has started just three Premier League games this term, has just 12 months left on his contract with Arsenal and he is reportedly a target for Liverpool. Arsenal have themselves been linked with Liverpool's Raheem Sterling who is stalling on a new deal at Anfield, leading to speculation that a swap deal may be a solution that could suit all parties.
