Wenger: Man City only beat us by 0.1 expected goals
Arsene Wenger claims that the ‘expected goals' score between Manchester City and Arsenal proves that they are not far behind the league leaders. The Gunners lost the game 3-1 to leave themselves 12 points behind City, but Wenger is keen to point out another statistic. 'I think they are a good side but they are not an unstoppable side,' Wenger said on beIN Sports. “If you look at the expected goals, it was 0.7 for them and 0.6 for us, it was a very tight game, they created very little, had very little number of shots on target, one more than us, that’s all.
