According to reports in The Telegraph, Southampton, West Ham and Everton have been dealt a huge blow in their attempts to sign Arsenal winger Theo Walcott during the January transfer window after Gunners manager Arsene Wenger said he won't be allowed to leave the club in the New Year. What's the word, then? Well, The Telegraph says that the French boss confirmed prior to the Europa League clash against BATE Borisov at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night, that he expects the 28-year-old to stake his claim for a starting spot in the Premier League with an impressive performance against the Belarusian outfit.
