Sam Allardyce has confirmed Everton are in advanced talks over a permanent deal for Theo Walcott and believes the Arsenal winger would be “a great addition” at Goodison Park. Everton and Southampton both want the 28-year-old this month with Arsenal open to offers for a player who has 18 months remaining on a £110,000-a-week contract.
