Arsenal's opening Aubameyang bid ‘almost £10m short'

Arsenal have reportedly made their opening offer for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – but it won't be enough. According to Kicker, the Gunners have submitted a bid of just over 50million euros (£44.1million) for the Gabon centre-forward, but the German publication reports that Dortmund will not consider any offer lower than 60million euros (£52.9million). Aubameyang was left out of the Dortmund squad for Friday's draw with Hertha Berlin but the 28-year-old trained on Saturday morning, with coach Peter Stoger happy with the striker's effort. After omitting Aubameyang from the trip to Berlin, Stoger says the centre-forward may be considered again for next Saturday's Bundesliga clash...
