Arsenal have been linked with a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a replacement for Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez. The Gabon international was dropped for Dortmund’s squad on Friday for the 1-1 draw at Hertha Berlin, suggesting he could be on the move. And the German club’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has since confirmed the Gunners have made a bid for the 28-year-old. Initial reports suggest the offer is in the region of £45million but Watzke refused to comment on the fee.
