Arsenal step up Aubameyang hunt as Gazidis jets out for talks

Arsenal officials have arrived in Dortmund for talks over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's potential switch, according to reports. The Gabon international has been strongly linked with a £50million+ move to the Emirates, as Arsenal step up their efforts to replace Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott. Now, according to Bild, those efforts have taken a significant step forward with Gunners' chief Ivan Gazidis jetting out to Germany for face-to-face talks. Part of those talks is expected to be Dortmund asking for Olivier Giroud in return as part of the deal, either on a permanent contract or a six-month loan deal.
