FC Barcelona transfer news: LaLiga giants to scout Manchester United, Man City and Arsenal target Matthijs de Ligt during England clash

Barcelona are sending scouts to watch the Netherlands host England on Friday night, as they are keeping tabs on Dutch starlet Matthijs de Ligt. As reported by The Sun, the Ajax centre-half is on Barca’s radar - and they, in fact, tried to bring him to Camp Nou in January. The 18-year-old is seen as a long-term replacement for Thomas Vermaelen, the former Arsenal defender, and Barca want to secure the signing of one of the most in-demand youngsters in world football.
