Ivan Gazidis: 'Arsene Wenger leaves Arsenal in a strong position'
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has insisted that the club has been left in a "very strong position" by departing manager Arsene Wenger. Gazidis is tasked with bringing in a new boss for the start of 2018-19 following Wenger's announcement that this season will be his last in charge. The Frenchman has won three Premier League titles and a record seven FA Cups during his time in North London, but the club are on course for their worst-ever finish in the Prem era as they are struggling in sixth place.
