'Awful', 'Poor' - Arsenal fans left furious with £16.2m-rated star's display
There will be no fairytale ending for Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, with the Gunners knocked out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage by Atletico Madrid. The Premier League club actually played well for long periods of both legs, but suffered a 2-1 aggregate defeat due to Diego Costa's goal in the second leg in the Spanish capital on Thursday night.
