Report: Thierry Henry contacted over vacant Arsenal job

Arsenal chiefs have reportedly arranged to hold talks with club legend Thierry Henry and discuss the vacant managerial vacancy. The Gunners are understood to be hoping to announce Arsene Wenger's successor within the next fortnight, giving the new man enough time to shape the squad ahead of the 2018-19 campaign. Overnight reports suggest that Mikel Arteta is now the leading candidate to take over at the Emirates Stadium, but another former player in Henry is also supposedly under consideration.
