Unai Emery refuses to comment on Jack Wilshere future
Unai Emery has avoided answering questions on the uncertain future of midfielder Jack Wilshere at his first press conference as Arsenal manager. The 26-year-old becomes a free agent at the beginning of next month after reportedly declining a reduced salary at the Emirates Stadium, which would be based on the number of appearances made. Following Arsene Wenger's departure at the end of the season, however, it is claimed that Arsenal are now keen to tie Wilshere down to a long-term deal to help with the new manager's transition.
