Unai Emery is set to hand a fresh chance to Lucas Perez at Arsenal after the player's loan spells (via The Metro). Lucas Perez has been a fascinating signing for Arsenal since his deadline day transfer from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016. He was signed on the back of a 17-goal season for a Deportivo side which was at serious risk of relegation. Lucas appeared to embody many of the traits which Arsenal's attack lacked at that time but was rarely seen in the Arsenal starting lineup. Instead, Lucas' appearances were largely restricted to substitute and cup competitions where, incidentally, he impressed.
