Arsenal ready to pay asking price to seal transfer of Juventus star

Arsenal are reportedly ready to pay the asking price of Medhi Benatia in order to sign him from Juventus in this summer's transfer window. The Gunners could do with strengthening in defence, and may want to sign more than just one player in that position due to the retirement of Per Mertesacker and with the Independent reporting Laurent Koscielny's injury could put him out of action for six months.
