Arsenal hopeful Chelsea hierarchy will buckle on Cech
According to reports from The Daily Mail this morning, Arsenal believe Chelsea will allow goalkeeper Petr Cech to join them this summer despite the close rivalry between the two London clubs. The Czech international is up there with the greatest goalkeepers in Premier League history, boasting three (almost four) titles, three Golden Glove awards and 332 league appearances since his debut in 2004, and at 32 years of age is still firmly within his prime. But Cech has found himself stuck behind the prodigious Thibaut Courtois this season, despite conceding just one goal in six Premier League appearances this term, and is resultantly expected to move on in the coming transfer window.
