Arsenal initially fell behind to a Marko Arnautovic strike, but managed to equalise through full-back Nacho Monreal. The half-time introduction of Alexandre Lacazette brought the Arsenal attack to life, and shortly afterwards he forced an own goal from Issa Diop.
