Aaron Ramsey has stated that he intends to serve out the remainder of his current contract with Arsenal, rather than leave the club in January, despite the Gunners having withdrawn their contract offer to him, as reported by the BBC. The Welshman’s words suggest that the North London club, for their part, are not pressuring the midfielder to seal a move away in the winter transfer window. This means that the 27-year-old, who was reportedly a £60m target for Barcelona in 2016, is almost certain to depart as a free agent at the end of this season.
