Spurs eager to beat Arsenal to defensive leader
Tottenham are plotting a summer move to beat bitter north London rivals Arsenal to the signature of £10m-rated Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk, according to reports from The Express. The Dutchman has been one of Scottish football’s leading lights since joining the Glasgow giants from Groningen in 2013, with his composed displays at the heart of Bhoys’ backline earning much praise.
