‘Nelson is out of his comfort zone in Germany'
Reiss Nelson is flying at the moment. Currently spending the 2018/19 season on loan with Hoffenheim, our teenager is averaging a goal every 64 minutes in the Bundesliga - and was even named Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for October.
Per Mertesacker played a key role in Nelson’s decision to move to Germany, and our academy manager says the 19-year-old is setting a fine example for our young prospects to follow.
