Arsenal to appoint Roma's Monchi?
Arsenal have reportedly identified Monchi as a potential replacement for outgoing head of recruitment Sven Mislintat. The Gunners only brought in Mislintat in December 2017, but the club recently announced that the 46-year-old would be leaving the Emirates Stadium. Former winger Marc Overmars has been linked with a return to the North London outfit but according to The Independent, Roma's Monchi features highly on Arsenal's shortlist. Monchi has previously worked with Unai Emery at Sevilla, and the Arsenal boss has allegedly been consulted over the possible arrival of the 50-year-old.
