Arsenal Win Race To Sign Luton Town Wonderkid Charlie Patino

It has been revealed that Arsenal have reportedly beat plenty of competition to the signing of Luton Town wonderkid Charlie Patino. The Daily Mail claims that the Gunners have won the race to sign the 11-year old and will pay League Two club Luton a compensation fee of £10,000. The likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham were all keen on Patino but he has opted for Arsenal as they are the closest club to his home in St Albans. Charlie and his father Juliano are season ticket holders with the Hatters but are now likely to turn their attentions to the red side of north London as the whizkid strives to make it at the Hale End academy.
