Vivianne Miedema named Women’s Player of the Year

Vivianne Miedema has been named as the Women’s Player of the Year at the London Football Awards 2019. The Netherlands international has been in stunning form this season, scoring 25 goals in 20 starts across all competitions.  This includes 16 goals in a single Women’s Super League season, breaking Ellen White’s previous record of 15. Impressively, Miedema still has six WSL games remaining to extend her tally.
