Why Bellerin can return at an even higher level
Hector Bellerin’s season may have come to a premature end but behind the scenes there is every confidence that he will come back stronger. Our No 2 suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during our 2-0 win over Chelsea in January, and underwent a successful surgery at the end of that month.
Now into the early stages of his rehabilitation, Bellerin is focused on getting back to his best, and academy head of sports medicine and athletic development Des Ryan believes that he can return at an even higher level.
