Reyes to get Spanish football's highest honour

Jose Antonio Reyes will be honoured by the Spanish FA following his death. The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced it will award the gold and diamond medal -- its highest distinction -- to Jose Antonio Reyes, who was killed in a car accident at the weekend. Thousands of people attended the wake that was held on Sunday evening at the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium for the former Sevilla, Arsenal and Real Madrid forward. Reyes, 35, was on the books of Spanish second division side UD Extremadura and was heading home to Utrera on Saturday morning when he crashed.
