Arsenal got off to a nightmare start in the north London derby on Sunday afternoon as they conceded a sloppy early goal courtesy of Christian Eriksen. The Dane had been out of favour at Tottenham this summer so it was rather typical that he popped up on the big occasion to score for Spurs. However, it wouldn't have come about if it wasn't for a succession of errors from the Gunners defence. A long ball forward from the visitors was rather strangely contested by two Arsenal players, Sokratis and Granit Xhaka, before Erik Lamela was set free.
