It’s safe to say that Joe Montemurro has Alex Scott’s approval. For a number of months the former Arsenal captain struggled to close the door on her playing career, but when Montemurro arrived from Melbourne City in November 2017, she knew the club was in a safe pair of hands.  “When you mention Joe he just makes me smile,” said Scott, who made a total of 313 appearances in the famous red and white. “Being the captain at the time, when he came in I could see where he’s going to take the team to, and now when I watch the games I’m just like yeah, he’s the right guy. “The way he looks at the game, the way he helps the players, he has everything. He got me smiling again....
