Loan Watch: Saliba stars again
William Saliba played the entirety of Saint-Etienne's 2-2 home draw with Amiens. Wahbi Khazri scored the only goal of the first half to give the hosts the lead, before quickfire strikes from Steven Mendoza and Chardrac Akolo turned the game on its head. Bakaye Dibassy then suffered the ignominy of scoring a late own goal to level the scores.
Mohamed Elneny played the full 90 minutes as Besiktas recorded a crucial 1-0 win over Istanbul rivals Galatasaray. Umut Nayir's strike sealed the points.
Eddie Nketiah came on as a half-time substitute as Leeds drew 0-0 at Sheffield Wednesday. Nketiah replaced Patrick Bamford at the interval but was unable to lead Leeds to victory.
