Leicester City to offer a big contract to Brendan Rodgers to fend off Arsenal 

In an attempt to deter Arsenal's advances towards their current head coach Brendan Rodgers, Leicester City are set to offer him a lucrative contract extension. According to The Telegraph, the hierarchy at Leicester are prepared to double the 46-year-old's wages, offering him a massive £10 million per year. Additionally, they are also keen on extending his contract, which currently runs until 2022, by a year or two. The Northern Irish manager has done exceedingly well on his return to the Premier League, catapulting Leicester into the title race this season.
