But the pub's loss is your brain's gain. While you're isolated indoors thanks to COVID-19, now's the time to get on with your reading list and learn something new about the beautiful game. We've made a list of some of our favourite recent football books right now. There's a mix too, from some veering on political thrillers, to the drama of Arsenal's 1989 title-winning season.
