Football Association charges Jack Wilshere
The Football Association has charged Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere with misconduct. The charge relates to the 23-year-old's conduct during Arsenal's open-top bus trip around the Islington area of London on Monday afternoon following the weekend's FA Cup triumph. Wilshere, who was a second-half substitute during the 4-0 win over Aston Villa at Wembley, grabbed a microphone, which he used to brand rivals Tottenham Hotspur as being "shit". He has been given until 6pm on Wednesday, June 10 to respond to the charge.
