Arsenal 'join the race for Portuguese starlet'
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Sporting Lisbon teenager Joelson Fernandes. The 17-year-old is yet to make his first-team bow for Sporting but has featured on 28 occasions for the club's Under-23 side this season, scoring five times and contributing two assists. Fernandes has also represented Portugal at Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 level, finding the back of the net on four occasions across the three different age groups. According to Record, Arsenal have joined the likes of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in the race to sign the left-sided attacker during this summer's transfer window.
