David Luiz confirms Benfica transfer talks as he nears Arsenal exit

Arsenal ace David Luiz says it is his “dream” to end his career at Benfica. The Brazilian defender looks likely to depart the Gunners at the end of the campaign with his contract due to expire. Luiz could now be set to return to Portugal having made his breakthrough with Benfica in 2007. He’s now revealed he’s in talks with club president Luis Filipe Vieira. 'I already spoke with Vieira about the return,” Luiz told Portuguese newspaper Record. 'My dream is to end my career at Benfica. 'When, I don't know, but it will happen... it will, if president Vieira allows me and if the fans want me to come back.
